Recap:
Both teams started offensively without any technical obligations. Holmlia took already the lead in the 3rd minute. Sandra Sjöberg (11) ( assisted by Elizabeth Landsgaard (9)) scored 1:0. Catharina Sterner (15) increased to 2:0 in the 5th minute. Both teams worked out numerous chances but the Norwegians missed their big chances so that a final hit rate of 5:3 for Holmlia SK was reached at the end of the 1st period. Both teams hold to their ways of playing in the 2nd period but the Norwegians tried more and more to overtake the initiative. Thus, Holmlia led with a score of 8:5 before the final period. The Scandinavian women wanted to clear everything in the final period and scored 3 more goals within the first minute, which resulted in their safe leadership of 11:5. Both teams gave up a defensive style afterwards and tried their luck in attacking each other. The match with the most goals in the women’s group of that day was developed since the Norwegians were the better playing team being more consequent and successful. The Norwegian women won successfully with a score rate of 17:8.
